Work will begin in 2018 on Linnanmaa campus in Oulu on the joint campus built for the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences. The joint campus is scheduled for completion in 2020, when Oulu University of Applied Sciences will be moving to Linnanmaa.
