Hervanta Campus is located on the southside of Tampere approximately a 15-minute ride from the railway station.

The many services on campus include the university library, automatic parcel lockers, and cafés and lunch restaurants. In addition, a day-care centre and the school of South Hervanta are located on campus. The buildings on the compact campus are all interconnected, which means it is possible to walk through the entire campus indoors.

The buildings and facilities on Hervanta campus enable unique collaboration opportunities between scientists, students, and businesses. The focal point of Hervanta campus is The Kampusareena building – a hub of science, research, and technology.  Kampusareena is the first university building in Finland where many businesses reside as tenants. It unites both students and researchers with businesses from various sectors. The encounters on campus spark ideas, more research, and development initiatives, as well as innovations, employment, and other opportunities for success.

Hervanta campus is the hub of new technologies and related knowledge and research in Tampere.

Accessibility

Hervanta campus is located on the southside of Tampere approximately a 15-minute ride from the railway station. One of the best ways to get to the campus is by tram.

Services

There are three restaurants and cafés on campus, as well as Bistro Ioni that is located on by the entrance of the Kampusareena building.
Business tenants can use the reception services of both Tietotalo and Kampusareena buildings.

Tenants are also able to reserve one of the two conference rooms of SYK Conference Centre in Tietotalo. Cleaning services can be included in the lease if needed, and they are provided by a single contractor campus-wide.

Parking

Business tenants can use the parking garage located opposite the Tietotalo building. The parking garage offers shared parking spaces and designated spaces with the possibility of charging electric cars. The parking garage is operated byt IGL/eParking.

The compact and close-knit campus area is conveniently located near Tampere city center. The buildings are interconnected internally, allowing you to traverse the entire campus with just a single opening of an outside door.

Companies also have the opportunity to join the Kampusklubi collaboration platform and enjoy comprehensive benefits related to business networks, events, and meeting spaces. The layout plan 1l.
